Items You Are Allowed To Bring to Drug Rehab

We prefer that residents bring all necessities upon admission. Any items forgotten must be mailed; items other than tobacco or money may not be brought into the facility during visitation. If you are wondering, “What items can I bring to drug rehab?” or what items are not allowed in drug rehab?” this list will familiarize you with what you can bring to drug and alcohol rehab, and which items are not allowed in drug and alcohol rehab.

The list below is the maximum items allowed; it is not necessary to have everything on the list. If you would like personal money, we ask that you bring it in the form of one dollar bills.

  • One dollar bills for personal money (approximately $25/week)
  • All prescription medications and labeled bottles
    • Over the counter medications must be approved by medical staff (i.e. vitamins, supplements)
  • Tobacco products – bring enough for the length of your stay – tobacco may be mailed in or brought to you at visitation
  • Electronic cigarette with sealed, unopened vapor cartridges
  • Clothing for ten days (i.e. pajamas, sweaters, jackets)
    • DRESS CODE
      • Shoes must be worn and residents must be fully and appropriately dressed before leaving their cabin.
        • Due to the outdoor, rural environment residents are required to wear closed toed shoes. Open toed shoes (flip flops/slippers) are allowed in cabins only.
      • When interacting with animals, residents are required to wear closed toed shoes and long pants because of the working ranch environment.
  • 1 hair dryer
  • 1 curling iron/flat iron
  • Brush/comb
  • 2 bottles of shampoo
  • 2 bottles of conditioner
  • Hair products (non-aerosol, alcohol free)
  • Makeup items (no glass containers)
  • Body wash or bar soap
  • Roll on or stick deodorant (non-aerosol)
  • Tooth brush and tooth paste
  • Alcohol free mouthwash
  • 1 razor and refills OR 1 electric razor
  • Shaving cream
  • Fingernail polish with non-acetone remover
  • Picture frames (no glass)
    • Photos may not contain gang signs, nudity, alcohol, drugs, or vulgarity
  • Photos are allowed however may not contain gang signs, nudity, alcohol, drugs or vulgarity
  • Alarm clock
  • 1 walkman CD player
  • 1 package of batteries
  • CDs (CDs may be check for appropriate content)
  • 1 iPod (no camera or internet capabilities)
  • Personal stationary, stamps, and envelopes
  • Personal snacks must be pre-packaged, sealed, and labeled with resident’s name

Items Not Allowed

  • No matches
  • No cell phones or pagers
  • No body spray, cologne, perfume containing alcohol
  • No straws
  • No Visine or other eye drops (unless prescribed by a doctor)
  • Nothing containing glass
  • No illicit drugs or alcohol
  • No laptop computers
  • No games or playing cards
  • No electronic gaming devices
  • No linens of any kind (i.e. sheets, pillows, blankets, pillow cases, towels, or washcloths)
  • No stuffed animals
  • No cameras

In accordance with Federal confidentiality laws, photos may NOT be taken at this facility.

Residents are responsible for personal laundry (machines and soap are provided).
